Joan Vassos Reflects on Setting Up ‘Golden Bachelor’ Costars With Former Suitors: Created 3 New Couples

Joan Vassos revealed she helped some of her Golden Bachelorette suitors find romance with women she bonded with during her season competing on The Golden Bachelor.

“I’ve already set three of them up — we have love connections that are brewing right now. And I have two more that I’m looking at and working on,” Joan, 62, told Us Weekly in an interview published on Wednesday, November 20.

“We have to see how that is going to unfold,” the school administrator cautioned. “There are already five guys from this season [now] involved with somebody. They came off of this and they were popular guys, and I’m not surprised that some of them have girlfriends already!”

Joan previously told Bustle on September 18, that her former Golden Bachelor castmates were interested in whoever she eliminated.

“All the Golden Bachelor women were all texting me, like, ‘We want your leftovers.’ They were big hits, these guys,” she shared.

Joan didn’t reveal the three couples she set up. Her contestant, Jack Lencioni, sat with The Golden Bachelor season 1 alum Susan Noles at Joan’s finale episode on November 13. The other couple fans are curious about is Leslie Fhima and Jordan Heller, as they appeared together in selfies at an October 28 soccer game in Los Angeles.

Leslie, 65, who was a finalist in Gerry Turner‘s season, addressed speculation about a romance with Jordan, 61, during a November 1 appearance on the “Almost Famous” podcast.

She told hosts Ben Higgins and Ashley Iaconetti, “I went on a meet-and-greet with Jordan … I don’t know if it was a meet-and-greet. I don’t know what you call it. Jordan had a suite at the soccer game in L.A. last week … and he invited me!”

When pressed about how she got invited by Jordan, Leslie revealed, “We have been texting a little bit.”

The fitness instructor seemingly hinted that if she was the Golden Bachelorette, Jordan would have gone far.

“I liked Jordan when I was watching the show. I liked him the best for me,” Leslie said. “I think all of the guys are great. I’m just saying, if it was me, if I was the Golden Bachelorette and he was on that show, um, you know, you know how you think.”

“Jordan, I feel like we have a lot in common. I know that he’s funny. I love funny. He lives in Chicago, I live in Minneapolis. He even has a dog, I have a dog. I mean, stuff like that’s important,” Leslie gushed. “And we’re both Jewish, and at the end of the day, that’s important to me as well. It’s not a hard stop … but I mean if you meet someone and they are your faith, that’s just icing on the cake.”

While Jack, 68, and Susan, 67, haven’t commented on romance rumors, some Bachelor Nation fans began shipping them after he was eliminated by Joan in the second week of her season.

“Can we arrange a Susan and Jack date?” one fan wrote on X on September 26.

The caterer from Chicago seemingly hinted that Susan captured his attention during a September 24 appearance on “The Viall Files” podcast, where he was asked about his interest in any of the ladies from The Golden Bachelor‘s debut season.

While Jack couldn’t connect a name, he mentioned the “lady with the dark hair,” who he said was “tall” and “real pretty,” which perfectly described Susan.
