With two failed engagements under his belt, it’s no surprise that Josh Murray is working on a new approach to finding love. The 33-year-old previously proposed to both Amanda Stanton on the Season 3 finale of Bachelor in Paradise as well as Andi Dorfman during Season 10 of The Bachelorette — both of which fizzled out in the public eye in a matter of months.

As for the third lucky lady who gets a ring placed on her finger by Mr. Murray? Well, that might take a little longer than a few weeks on a reality show to find. “I’m still on the quest to find Mrs. Right,” Josh exclusively Life & Style. “I’m not going to rush into getting engaged like I did the previous two times. I really want to get to know the person well and see how they are in real-life situations.”

It makes sense that Josh wants to take his time to find the right lady this time around, as both of his previous televised relationships didn’t end on the most positive note. Former Bachelorette Andi, released a book, It’s Not Okay, which claimed their nine-month engagement was “the most volatile and f–ked up relationship,” though Josh has openly called her narrative a “fictional story.” As for Amanda, Josh recently admitted in an interview with Extra that he is “definitely not on good terms with her” but wishes her the best.

But now that all the drama is behind him, Josh — who’s currently using the Hinge dating app — is taking the necessary steps to find his “best friend.” “[I’m looking for] an honest, loving woman who wants to have a family, has good values, is active — and can put up with my dog obsession!”
