Justin Bieber Announces Exit From His Drew House Brand: Tells Fans ‘Don’t Waste Your Money’

Put away those smiley faces! Justin Bieber told fans he’s exited his Drew House fashion brand in a dramatic way.

“I Justin Bieber am no longer involved in this brand,” Justin wrote in a since deleted Instagram Story post on Thursday, April 10. “Drewhouse [sic] doesn’t represent me or family or life.”

Justin, 31, wrote his statement over Drew House’s Instagram page, putting an “X” over the brand’s logo in the avatar

The “Holy” singer couldn’t have been more clear that he wants no connection to Drew House, adding, “If you’re rocking with me the human Justin Bieber don’t waste your money on drewhouse [sic].”

It comes one week after Justin shared an Instagram Reels showing him literally torch his relationship with Drew House.

The Reels video showed an animated version of Justin pulling up to a house on a scooter. He went inside the home, which had Drew House items on the walls, and headed to the back pool. After staring at a Drew House teddy bear on a donut floatie, Justin got up and pulled out a book of matches, setting fire to the house as he walked out the door.

With the burning home behind him, animated Justin joined his wife, Hailey Bieber, outside, as the pair pushed their son, Jack Blues Bieber, in a stroller towards shiny new horizon. That’s when the new SKYLRK label appeared on screen. The video was set to Justin’s pal Eddie Benjamin‘s tune “Maniac.”

On the same day, the Canada native told fans he was no longer affiliated with Drew House, Justin shared a photo in front of a rack of colorful hoodies while tagging “@skylrk.” Even though the site hasn’t shared any posts as of Friday, April 11, it has amassed more than 327,000 followers eagerly awaiting to see what Justin plans to launch. He shared several other Instagram Stories featuring clothing items including hats, hoodies and sweatpants while tagging SKYLRK, but none had the brand’s logo yet.

The “Peaches” singer founded Drew House with stylist Ryan Good in 2018. The duo officially launched the brand in January 2019.

While Justin wore Drew House’s baggy hoodies and other apparel with the huge smiley face logo on it regularly for several years, he hasn’t seen sporting anything related to the company since 2023. Justin has seemingly unfollowed Ryan on Instagram.

“The SKYLRK announcement was a slap in the face to all the people who had been working hard on the next Drew House release,” a source connected to both Justin and Drew House employees told People on April 10.

“Also, some of his employees were affected from the Palisades and Pasadena fires,” the source continued. “That video he used to burn the house down was highly inappropriate and insensitive but that’s who he really is.”

Ryan, 41, discussed how he and Justin formed Drew House during a 2019 profile in GQ.

“He called me over to his house and said, ‘This is what I want to do and I want you to creative direct it,’ and hit me with the idea of what we should do, and laid it all out pretty simplistically and pretty specific, but pretty in depth,” the stylist told the outlet. “He’s got a great instinct. It’s not just his impact, but his actual eye for fashion is one of the most valuable tools that our brand has.”
