Kaia Gerber and Lewis Pullman Can’t Keep Their Hands Off Each Other at Venice Film Festival: Photos
Who needs a movie when Kaia Gerber and Lewis Pullman are putting on their own show in Venice?
The model, 23, and the Top Gun: Maverick actor, 32, couldn’t keep their hands—or lips—off each other while attending the Venice Film Festival, and their PDA was impossible to ignore.
The stylish couple arrived hand-in-hand for the premiere of Pullman’s new film The Testament of Ann Lee on Monday, looking every bit the glamorous duo. But it wasn’t just their red carpet glow that had everyone talking. At one point, Kaia pulled Lewis in for a passionate kiss, clutching the back of his head as he wrapped his arms around her waist, creating a moment that looked straight out of a romance movie.
Their Italian love story actually started a day earlier when they were spotted cozying up at Harry’s Bar. While Kaia enjoyed a cheeky cigarette, Lewis wrapped his arms tightly around her waist and kissed her like no one was watching. The actor even gave her a playful smack on the behind, proving they’re not shy about showing affection.
Later, the pair tried to hop on a water taxi back to their hotel but quickly discovered the boat didn’t accept cards. Instead, they laughed it off and strolled back to the bar to grab cash before heading back hand-in-hand.
Kaia and Lewis were first romantically linked in January when they celebrated his birthday together, with insiders telling People the two were keeping things “very low-key” following Kaia’s split from longtime boyfriend Austin Butler. By May, however, the couple had gone public with their romance after stepping out to see The Picture of Dorian Gray on Broadway in New York City. “They are definitely together,” a source told Page Six at the time, noting Kaia sweetly rested her head on Lewis’ shoulder throughout the show.
Since then, the duo hasn’t shied away from showing affection, whether it was their makeout session in the crowd at a Hollywood Bowl concert in June or now, at one of the biggest film festivals in the world.
Kaia, who called it quits with Butler after three years in late 2024, has found something fresh and exciting with Pullman. Her parents, Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber, have even given their seal of approval. “Lewis has met Kaia’s parents, and they really like him,” a source told People in June. “Everyone says Kaia and Lewis have great chemistry, and she loves how grounded and genuine he is.”
The insider added that Kaia “appreciates” Lewis’ more down-to-earth vibe compared to her past relationships. “He’s very low-key, and she likes that he’s not caught up in the spotlight. He just has this calm, down-to-earth energy, and she finds it really comforting.”
