Boy bye! Khloé Kardashian may have forgiven her cheating baby daddy Tristan Thompson, but that doesn't mean her friends and family have to! It's been nearly three weeks since the Cleveland Cavaliers player was caught making out with a woman, who was later identified as Instagram model Lani Blair, in NYC just days before Khloé gave birth to their beautiful baby girl named True. Now,Khlo's sister Kim Kardashian is making it clear that she is not Team Tristan anymore because she unfollowed him on Instagram!
The Keeping Up With the Kardashians clicked the unfollow button on Tristan on Monday, April 30 — just hours before she broke her silence about his cheating scandal during an interview on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, E! News reported. In response, Tristan also unfollowed Kim on the social media platform.
"Like I don't even know how to describe it besides, it's just so f--ked up," the 37-year-old said when Ellen asked her about the scandal. "We really were rooting for Khloé, and we still are, you know. She's so strong and she's doing the best that she can — it's a really sad situation all over. I kind of made this rule with [Rob Kardashian], if there's a baby involved, I'm going to keep it cute, and keep it classy, and not talk too bad. I'm going to try not to say anything so negative because, one day, True is going to see this and you know, it's so messed up."
Kim isn't the only person from Khlo's squad to shun Tristan. Malika Haqq — Khlo's best friend forever — wasted no time unfollowing him on Instagram. Just three days after the scandal broke, Malika clicked the unfollow button.
She followed up the shade by sending her BFF a short and sweet message on the social media platform. "Right by your side. Congrats my love! Thank you for my niece," she captioned a portrait of the new mom. Malika's sister — and Khloé's other pal — Khadijah Haqq feels the same way. She shared a cryptic message on Instagram just hours after the footage of Tristan surfaced. It read, "The best thing a father can do for his children is to love their mother — Jon Wooden."
It's worth noting that Khloé's sister, Kourtney Kardashian, liked Khadijah's shade but has yet to share her own words or unfollow Tristan. And the same goes for the rest of the Kardashian/Jenner crew — Kylie Jenner, Kendall Jenner, and Kris Jenner, who are all still playing nice (publicly at least).
There's no clear word yet on whether Koko and Tristan will split up and co-parent True or try to make it work after the scandal, but a source exclusively told Life & Style that KoKo could give her baby daddy another chance. "She'll break up with Tristan for a while," the source revealed. "But sadly, Khloé will probably take him back."
It's shocking that Khlo could forgive him after everything he's done. According to Page Six, Tristan probably did more than just make out with the Lani as the pair spent four hours in his hotel room together before heading to a party in NYC's Meatpacking District. They reportedly went back to the hotel at 5 a.m. on Sunday morning before Lani left at 8 p.m. that night. "Apparently Tristan and Lani spent a lot of time together over the weekend," a source told the outlet.
