While the couple has never gone public with their three-year love affair, Katie’s 10-year-old daughter Suri, with ex-husband Tom Cruise, is aware of the relationship.

Just last month, the Oscar winning actor whisked Katie away to Mexico for a romantic weekend getaway to celebrate her birthday. Before that, the duo was spotted at a Barbara Streisand concert, where Katie supported her boyfriend when he took the stage.

“Jamie is someone she can trust and have fun with,” an insider said of the Dawson’s Creek alum. “She’s getting everything from Jamie that she didn’t get with Tom.”

Meanwhile, Life & Style has exclusively revealed that Tom, 54, who starred alongside Jamie in the film Collateral, did not spend the holidays with his daughter — and has not seen Suri in years.

In fact, “it’s been more than three years since Tom has seen Suri,” an insider says. “And he hasn’t celebrated Thanksgiving or Christmas with her [in person] since she was 6.”

The source continues, “He doesn’t talk about those days with Suri much anymore.”

However, despite her blossoming romance, Katie’s number one focus will always be her daughter.

“I try to make our world very much an environment that’s just all about being a kid without too much of Hollywood coming into that,” Katie recently told the New York Times. “And I just enjoy it. Honestly I think that there are so many books and opinions about how to be a great mom, and you have good days and bad days, and sometimes you do great and sometimes you could have done better. But I have to say I’m really enjoying having a 10-year-old. She’s a remarkable person.”
