Kelly Clarkson Slams Celeb Critics of ‘American Idol,’ Plus 6 Stars Who Made It Big After Talent Shows
She has a hit talk show, a Las Vegas residency, 12 Billboard Hot 100 top-10 hits, eight Emmys and three Grammys, Kelly Clarkson wasn’t always respected in the music business. “People were really cruel at first,” she said of being the first American Idol winner during a recent interview on Kylie Kelce’s “Not Gonna Lie” podcast.
