Kelsea Ballerini Stuns Fans After Revealing She Wore a Wig for Tour: ‘Felt Like Hannah Montana’

Kelsea Ballerini is a girl’s girl, which means she doesn’t gatekeep her onstage beauty hacks. In fact, the country shared a video of how she deglams after a show and shocked fans when she removed a wig from her head.

“Protected my hair, felt like Hannah Montana, and got the after show nickname Rufus. Last night of tour shed,” Kelsea, 31, captioned the Thursday, April 17, TikTok video.

The “Peter Pan” singer shared a sped-up version of her talented hairstylist gently taking off her wig, which looked like the musician’s natural blonde locks. Kelsea mischievously looked into the camera after the hairpiece was fully removed and continued to remove her makeup with a wipe.

“Whoever did this install of the wig needs a raise because omg!! I saw you up close & personal in Seattle & I would have NEVER guessed it wasn’t your real hair,” one fan wrote in the comments section of the post.

A second fan thanked Kelsea for her transparency, writing, “Not that as fans we are owed anything, but it’s so cool to just see someone who is just so real with everything.”

Kelsea gave her final bow in Toronto during her 30-stop tour that traveled around the United States and Canada.

“We made it home,” the “Miss Me More” artist captioned her Tuesday, April 15, Instagram post. “First of many end of tour emo posts, but the BIGGEST thank you to the team of people that made this come to life and executed the show every night so smoothly and beautifully. It has been a labor of love from so many, and I’m beyond grateful to share this first with such talented and kind humans.”

The Voice coach quite literally ended her tour with a bang after she fell on stage as a part of the platform elevated. Kelsea was singing on the rising platform with her crew and excitedly ran and jumped around, not knowing that the platform was rising.

Audience members audibly reacted to the mishap, but Kelsea decided the show must go on, posed on the floor and picked herself back up and continued to sing “Friends in Low Places” as a tribute to her band and crew, which was fitting for the moment.

“Kelsea took ‘If You Go Down’ quite literally tonight in Toronto,” a concertgoer wrote via TikTok alongside a clip of the moment.

One fan gushed that Kelsea “turns any mistake into a masterpiece.”

Meanwhile, others thought it was funny that she took a tumble while singing “Friends in Low Places.”

“Kelsea, your comedic timing is impeccable,” a second person joked as a third fan commented, “She made it look like it was meant to happen lol.”

Despite reaching the end of her tour, Kelsea will continue being a booked and busy bee as a mentor on The Voice season 27 alongside Michael Bublé, John Legend and Adam Levine.

Contestants Iris Herrera, Tinika Wyatt, Jaelen Johnston, Darius J and Alanna Lynise will make their way to the playoffs while representing Team Kelsea.
