Bye, Blake! Kendall Jenner reportedly has a new basketball-playing boyfriend — seemingly rebounding from her ex Blake Griffin with NBA star Ben Simmons. The model was spotted with the Philadelphia 76er on Tuesday enjoying a lunch date at the Beverly Hills Hotel and a source reveals the romance has been going on "for a few weeks."
"Security measures seemed to have been taken to ensure Kendall, 22, and Ben, 21, enjoyed their night hassle free," a witness told Page Six. "They were smiling the night away with their friends." In case you haven't been following along with the NBA, Ben is a 6-foot-10 point guard who was recently nominated for Rookie of the Year.
Earlier this year, Kendall was linked to Blake, and the KUWTK star was even named in a palimony lawsuit against the athlete. According to his baby mama, Brynn Cameron, Blake embarrassed his family with his "public fawning" over Kendall and "cared more about the glamour of dating a Hollywood celebrity than the day-to-day responsibilities of being a father and family man."
Kendall opened up about her relationship with Blake in an interview with Vogue, revealing why the couple kept their romance private. "I'm not like all my other sisters, who are like, 'Here's me and my boyfriend!'" she shared. "So it was a thing for a minute because no one ever saw me with a guy." She went on to hint at someone special in her life, adding, "I like my private life. I have someone being very nice to me." So is that someone new Ben?
Before Blake and Ben, Kendall was linked to another NBA star, Jordan Clarkson, whom she recently enlisted to spy on his teammate, and sister Khloé Kardashian's cheating baby daddy Tristan Thompson. "Kendall's playing detective. She's asked Jordan for a huge favor — to keep an eye out on Tristan and make sure he's not screwing around behind Khloé's back," the source told In Touch. "Kendall's pissed and won't ever forgive Tristan for cheating and thinks he'll do it again."
Well, Kendall definitely has a type.
