She’s into it. Khloé Kardashian checked in with her big sis Kim Kardashian about her ex-husband Lamar Odom‘s new book Darkness to Light in a sneak peek clip for Keeping Up With the Kardashians season 17 — and it turns out the 35-year-old is cool with everything her former man had been saying on his press tour.

“How do you feel about all the press that he’s doing?” the 38-year-old asked her sister, to which Khloé responded pretty positively. “I’m fine. It’s his truth,” she explained. “Like he’s allowed to tell his version.”

“Him and I each played a significant role in each other’s lives,” the Revenge Body host continued. “So I think it’s natural, like if I talk about my past, I’d hope my marriage would be a chapter that I would talk about. And for him, the same thing.”

In Khlo’s eyes, she feels positively that Lamar’s book will serve as “healing or therapy” for him to overcome his past issues that came to a head during their marriage.

“A lot of this stuff wasn’t my place to ever talk about, but it’s definitely his place as this happened to him,” the blonde beauty remarked. “I actually think it’s really courageous to talk about the amount of addiction that he’s had. Like, the depths of it.”

All in all, True Thompson‘s mama didn’t seem worried about the book and, actually, commended Lamar for his honesty within its pages. “It’s not all great, but it’s … you know, I appreciate the honesty in it,” the KUWTK babe explained. “I like that he says how much he loved filming. ‘Cause all of that was true.”

According to the new mother, their year-long show owed a lot of its success to her ex. “He pushed and pushed and pushed,” she revealed. “He’s like, ‘I loved it!’ I was like, ‘Oh good.’ Just stay in your truth.”

Keeping Up With the Kardashians season 17 premiere airs only on E! Sunday, September 8 at 9 p.m. ET/PT
