It’s all about the little things! Khloé Kardashian took to her Instagram Story on Friday, February 21, to get candid about how crucial her morning routine is, which includes starting the day before her daughter, True Thompson.

“To me, it is so important that I get up before True,” the 35-year-old began. “I can have time to self-reflect. Or I give thanks and I have a couple moments of stillness. After that stillness, I typically workout and get ready to conquer my day.”

It’s possible those moments by herself help Khloé stay calm and collected. After all, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star has grown immensely over the past year, especially after the cheating scandal that happened between ex Tristan Thompson and former family friend Jordyn Woods in February 2019.

Though she went through a lot with her ex/ baby daddy, Khloé has learned to let go. “I want to show my daughter that it’s OK to ,” the blonde beauty revealed on Jay Shetty‘s “On Purpose” podcast in October 2019. “He’s a great person. Maybe him and I weren’t compatible or whatever in that way, but that’s OK. Nobody’s going to die. I always .”

She continued at the time, “So, for what I went through with my breakup, I forgive Tristan, and I don’t think he’s a bad person. I think we all make mistakes — we’re humans — but it’s only going to hurt me if I’m holding onto this anger and playing this victim role. I don’t believe in being a victim. So, something I’m focusing on is just making sure I’m healed from that — or as much as I can — and making sure I understand it.”

During the same interview, KoKo revealed True motivates her to exercise. In addition, staying active has helped her get through some rough times, including her split from ex-husband Lamar Odom. “I started going to the gym , like a significant and consistent amount for my mental [health],” she divulged. “I needed a release and I needed to feel strong and I just needed to get rid of all these thoughts.” You go, girl!
