Saint, Chicago and Psalm West Are Baptized in Armenia While Kim Kardashian Films for ‘KUWTK’
On Monday, October 7, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s children Saint, Chicago and Psalm received their first holy sacrament. According to Us Weekly, the pair’s three youngest kids were baptized in Armenia while the famous family films for KUWTK.
“Holy Etchmiadzin, one of the most ancient Christian Cathedrals in the world,” Kim, 38, captioned one of her Instagram Stories of the church in Vagharshapat, as well as sharing a photo of herself carrying Psalm, 4 months, into the house of prayer.
The KKW Beauty mogul looked ethereal in a modest gray dress with beachy waves falling down her back. Saint, 3, Chicago, 21 months, and Psalm all wore white, as did the trio’s older sister, North West.
Of course, this is hardly the first time that Kim has been open with her faith on the reality series. However, she has made it clear in the past that her husband’s Sunday Service is not necessarily about religion.
Speaking with Elle magazine for the publication’s April cover story, Kim explained that all faiths are welcome to participate in what Kanye, 42, has created.
“Kourtney [Kardashian‘s] best friends come all the time and they’re Muslim,” the Skims founder assured. “All my Jewish friends came on Sunday — they loved it. Everyone that comes understands it’s just a really healing experience with an amazing choir and amazing messages about love to start off your week.”
Kim continued, “It’s just music … there’s no sermon. It’s definitely something he believes in — Jesus — and there’s a Christian vibe. But there’s no preaching. It’s just a very spiritual Christian experience.”
Based on what Kim and other members of her family have shared on social media, music is most definitely a big part of the experience. In fact, North, 6, is generally front and center singing along with her rapper dad and large choir.
Unsurprisingly, Sunday Service has also attracted other A-listers, including Katy Perry, Orlando Bloom and Brad Pitt.
As it stands, Kim has yet to reveal any additional plans for her travels in Armenia. That said, we look forward to seeing more of her little ones.
