Kim Kardashian, who recently hired a surrogate to expand her family with husband Kanye West, is expecting twins.

As previously reported, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star, 36 — who is already mom of daughter North, 4, and son Saint, 19 months — has been planning to have more babies even though Kanye, 40, wasn’t initially interested.
Earlier this month, a source exclusively told Life & Style that Kim wanted to find a surrogate to carry an embryo that she and the “Faded” rapper had frozen. “She wants to choose someone outside of the state of California, where there are all kinds of surrogacy laws,” the insider said at the time. “She’s ready to go.”

Despite his hesitation about growing his brood, Kanye has said that fatherhood has had a profound affect on him. “Having a family period has made me completely rethink the way I rap,” he told SHOWStudio in October 2015. “I just love my family.”
For her part, Kim is equally in love with her life as a mother. “I love being a mom!” she gushed to parenting blog Romy and The Bunnies in 2014. “It’s the most rewarding feeling! I really love every phase! Just the way my daughter laughs with me, all of the small things in life you appreciate!”
