Kim Kardashian Is Kind of, Sort of (Not) Rooting for Khloé and Tristan Thompson
On Friday’s episode of Life With Kelly and Ryan, Kim Kardashian was asked (again) about her sister Khloé Kardashian‘s relationship status with cheating baby daddy Tristan Thompson. And while she stayed positive for the cameras, there was no denying Kim is not the biggest fan of the NBA star — and vice versa.
“I mean … last time I went on TV and answered some questions about her, I got blocked on social media… Not from Khloé,” she told Ryan Seacrest and Kelly Ripa. “I’m always rooting for her, for love. I’m always rooting for families.” Right…
Last month, on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Kim, 37, gave a more honest response when asked about the cheating scandal, which took place just a few days before Khloé gave birth to daughter True Thompson. “Like I don’t even know how to describe it besides, it’s just so f–ked up,” she said. “We really were rooting for Khloé, and we still are, you know. She’s so strong and she’s doing the best that she can — it’s a really sad situation all over.”
However, Kim didn’t hesitate when it came time to gush about her new niece True. “Khloé is doinig, honestly, she’s so focused on her baby. Baby is gorgeous,” she added on the morning show. “Gorgeous, so you know, she’s so happy.” Luckily for KUWTK fans, Khloé gave her followers their first look at her baby girl just a couple days shy of her one-month birthday.
She jokingly teased she lost track of the days — and was celebrating the milestone a tad bit early. “Guess what… until this tweet I thought it was the 12th the entire day lol,” she tweeted when called out on the date slip up. “So, technically you are right. Lol I’m so immersed in feedings, sleeping, and diapers — REPEAT!! Wow lol ok so we have two days.”
As for Tristan, he recently spoke out in his first post-cheating interview, and admitted that having a daughter has changed him. “I think with a girl, you’re just so much more emotionally like… With a boy, it’s just like, ‘Hey, man. You’ll be alright, man. Stop crying,'”Tristan explained on UNINTERRUPTED’s Road Trippin’ podcast. “But with True, it’s like, ‘True, it’s gonna be OK. You know, we’re right here. Daddy’s here to feed you. It’s me! Look, yeah!’ It’s way different, but it’s fun, though… It changes you.”
