Pregnant Khloé Kardashian is about to give birth, like, any minute but all people are talking about is her cheating boyfriend, Tristan Thompson. The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star finally confirmed she's expecting a baby in 2018 back in December, but her hopes for what was supposed to be the happiest time in her life were quickly shattered when the Daily Mail revealed he's been canoodling with other ladies. Yes, multiple ladies.
Now fans are more curious than ever about her 27-year-old man-child. Keep scrolling below to find out how long they have been together and more.
Tristan and Khloé have been dating for more than a year.
The couple was set up on a blind date group date by basketball player Brandon Jennings, Khloé revealed on the KUWTK 10th-anniversary special in September. They made their first public appearance together in August 2016.
When announcing the pregnancy, Khloé couldn't hold back her love for her 6' 9" pro-baller. "Tristan, thank you for loving me the way that you do!" she began. "Thank you for treating me like a Queen! Thank you for making me feel beautiful at all stages! Tristan, most of all, Thank you for making me a MOMMY!!! You have made this experience even more magical than I could have envisioned! I will never forget how wonderful you've been to me during this time! Thank you for making me so happy my love!"
Tristan revealed more about how they met when he responded, "Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your journey and entering your life that day at the Bel Air hotel. One of the best moments of my life. I'm so happy to be on this journey together with you and creating this angel from the man above. Everyday I give thanks to him for bringing us together. I love you so much and I know our little angle feels the love we share together and will know that mommy and daddy loves them unconditionally forever and ever amen. BTW shoutout the brodie @brandonjennings for bringing this King and Queen together."
They were in a long-distance relationship.
Although the soon-to-be mom is currently in Cleveland awaiting the birth of their baby girl, the two used to have a LDR. Tristan currently plays for the Cleveland Cavaliers, so he lives in Cleveland while Khloé's home base is in Los Angeles. But during her recent appearance on Steve Harvey's talk show, Khloé revealed that she lives in Cleveland throughout the NBA season and just flies back and forth to LA for work.
"She has a closet in his house where he lives in Cleveland," a source revealed to Us Weekly. "They have a routine there. She has a life in L.A. and a life there with him." But Khloé is used to it because she's a former basketball wife herself. She was previously married to former NBA star Lamar Odom, and she dated basketball player James Harden for about eight months.
Tristan is already a dad.
Before he met Khloé, Tristan dated model Jordan Craig and she got pregnant while they were together. They broke up when she was three months along, and Jordan gave birth to their son Prince last December. Since the cheating scandal, however, Koko has been receiveing backlash. Some went as far as to say she should name their baby "Karma" for allegedly breaking up the pair. "No encouragement bihhh she took someone's boyfriend. Karma is a serious thing," someone wrote on Instagram. Another agreed adding, "You lose them how you get em." Ouch.
It's safe to say he won't be proposing anymore.
Although rumors had been swirling that the two got engaged last year after Koko was spotted with a big ole' rock on her finger, we highly doubt he'll propose now. And even if for some reason he did, there's no way she would accept it. A source previously told Life & Style the duo were planning a $2 million wedding. "They're willing to spend $2 million on a huge, extravagant event," the insider dished. "[Momager] Kris [Jenner] got dollar signs in her eyes when Khloé told her the news. She was up all night typing a wedding plan and ideas for a TV special." Anddd, we're officially sobbing. Poor Khlo!
He could always hide from the fallout back in Canada.
Believe it or not, Tristan is a Canadian. He was born and raised in Toronto (just like Drake), and began high school in Brampton at St. Marguerite d'Youville Secondary School before transferring to Saint Benedict's Preparatory School in Newark, New Jersey. Though he has been in America pretty much since going to the University of Texas at Austin, he still represents Canada in international competitions. So yeah, he could always run away to Canada.
