Lionel Richie Does Not Approve of Daughter Sofia Richie’s Relationship With Scott Disick
If you find Scott Disick’s relationship with Sofia Richie kinda problematic given their 15-year age gap, you’re in good company — her father, Lionel Richie, is also not a fan. According to Life & Style, the 68-year-old icon is understandably less than thrilled about the romance. Watch the video below to see his reaction!
Lionel made his feelings especially known when Us Weekly asked about the twosome. “Have I been in shock?! I’m the dad, come on,” he joked. “I’m scared to death, are you kidding me?”
This is the second high-profile relationship for the 19-year-old, who was once linked to Justin Bieber. Scott, on the other hand, has dated (or hooked up with, rather) a bevy of young women since he officially ended things with the mother of his three children, Kourtney Kardashian (who, coincidentally, was also linked to Justin Bieber).
Like Lionel — and, let’s be honest, the rest of the world — Kourt is said to be a little bothered by Scott’s newest conquest. “Kourtney thinks this fling with Sofia is a little weird, but nothing shocks her anymore,” a source told Us Weekly. “Kourtney just wants Scott to be his old self. She shares three kids with him, so she’ll always want the best for him and will always make sure he’s happy.”
Of course, we know Scott won’t be totally happy until he has Kourtney back — he even confessed that he still “tries to f–k her at least once a week.” And it would appear Kourt hasn’t turned her back on their relationship either — she said that she’d have another kid with the New York native if the timing and circumstances were right.
