Love Is Blind’s Meg Fink and Mason Horacek Reunited and Began Dating After Leaving the Pods
Love Is Blind stars Meg Fink and Mason Horacek left the pods single in season 8, despite developing a close connection. However, in episode 11, they revealed that they began dating after the cameras stopped rolling.
When the cast members met up at a local bar, Meg, 31, and Mason, 33, surprised everyone by walking in holding hands. When fellow season 8 costar Joey Leveille asked Mason if he walked in with Meg, he confirmed that he did and said that they were “hanging out” and that it was “going really good.”
The oncology nurse elaborated on their relationship a little further when she spoke to producers during a one-on-one interview.
“It’s crazy,” Meg said. “I was like, ‘I’m never talking to that guy again,’ then the second I got my phone back [we] just started talking and never stopped talking.”
Later, their costar Sara Carton asked for details and Meg replied, “So, after I left, I was like, ‘I’m not talking to the guy. I need to process. I need to figure out how I feel.’ Then the second I got my phone, I was like, ‘How’s Mason?’”
Mason chimed in and said that he was “searching for her for hours” before Meg actually reached out to him and asked him if he “was doing OK.”
“I said, ‘I’m doing a lot worse now that I know you’re gorgeous,’” Mason recalled.
Once they agreed to meet up, they explained that they had their own version of a Love Is Blind reveal and it seemed like sparks flew. While Meg said that after meeting in person, they decided to “just be friends” and take their relationship “slow,” but it appeared that they were definitely a couple while chatting up some of their fellow cast members.

During season 8, Meg found herself in the midst of a love triangle with costars Madison Errichiello and Mason. Meg was adamant that Mason was her No. 1 choice in the pods, but Madison, 28, was still torn between Mason and Alex Brown. After feeling like Mason was too indecisive about his feelings for both her and Meg, she broke it off with him.
“Yesterday, he was like, ‘I’m committed to you,” and today for him to be like, ‘I take that back …’ Based on what he told me, I don’t think you’ll be impressed,” Madison told Meg after their final date. “He just could not decide which direction to go, and I chose quicker than he did.”
When Meg had her final date with Mason, she couldn’t help but feel like she was his second choice. The cinematographer tried to explain that he wanted to make things work with her, she wasn’t interested.
“I love hearing those words. I’m like, ‘Oh, he actually liked me. That’s great!’ But I’ll never know if what you’re saying is true because we don’t get the opportunity for you to pick,” Meg explained. “I’m not going to be able to get past that. I really do hope you understand.”
Mason was visibly upset with her decision, and they both left the pods unattached.
