She thinks she has a case! Real Housewives of New York star Luann de Lesseps just rejected a plea deal during a hearing for her Christmas Eve arrest. She was charged with battery of an officer, disorderly intoxication, resisting arrest with violence, and crimes against a person, and two corruption by threat charges for threatening to kill law enforcement. She said, “I am going to kill you all.” TMZ reports there is no word yet on what the plea deal consisted of.

Resisting arrest with violence is a felony and TMZ says she could face up to five years in prison just for that. Not only did prosecutors give no detail of the plea, but also no mention of why she turned it down. Her rep told People, “The case is still ongoing, it’s been rescheduled for 60 days, and everyone is still in discussion.” The new hearing will take place on April 13.

Mike Edmondson, executive assistant to Dave Aronberg, state attorney for the Fifteen Judicial Circuit of Palm Beach County, also told People, “They said no when the state attorney offered a settlement in her case.”

Luann issued a statement about her behavior that night saying, “This was my first time in Palm Beach since my wedding, and being here brought up long-buried emotions. I want to offer my sincere apologies to anyone I might have offended with my behavior. I am committed to a transformative and hopeful 2018.” She married entrepreneur Tom D’Agostino on New Year’s Eve 2017. They were divorced seven months later.

Before entering into rehab for alcohol-related problems stemming from her arrest she said, “After the events of last Saturday night in Palm Beach, I am truly embarrassed. I have decided to seek professional guidance and will be voluntarily checking into an alcohol treatment center. I intend to turn this unfortunate incident into a positive life changing event. Once again, I sincerely apologize for my actions. I have the greatest respect for police officers and the job they do.”
