Macklemore, Usher and Nick Cannon’s Big MTV Surprise (VIDEO)
Some lucky teens and early 20-somethings are about to get the surprise of a lifetime.
Stars including Usher, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Nick Cannon and Darren Criss will be shocking students on a new MTV show called Random Acts of mtvU. But don't expect this to be another Punk'd!
Instead of playing jokes, the musicians are surprising college kids from around the country with a surpise they'll actually want – including $24,000 in tuition finding, VIP tickets, invites to a red carpet event and more.
The show, which starts Monday and will air throughout the week on MTV, MTV2 and mtvU at 4 p.m. ET, selected college students who are giving back to their community. Check out a preview of the new show here:
