Double the Fun‘RHOC’ Star Meghan King Edmonds Is Pregnant — Expecting Twin Boys!
Congratulations are in order for Real Housewives of Orange County star Meghan King Edmonds. The reality star announced in November that she is pregnant — and she took to Instagram today to share that she and her husband, Jim, are expecting twin boys!
The blonde beauty — who is already a mother to one-year-old daughter, Aspen — shared this adorable snap featuring her husband, daughter, and dogs. "Surprise, surprise! We’re having TWINS! Oh boy oh boy! #doubletrouble #threeundertwo," she captioned the image. We can't wait to meet the new additions!
Meghan, 33, first shared the exciting news on her blog that Aspen is going to be a big sister. "It was so hard for us to keep it a secret from everyone especially since we shared our entire IVF journey with Aspen on RHOC from the very beginning," she wrote. She also revealed that she was one month pregnant while filming the reunion episode of the Bravo reality series.
According to Meghan, who has been very open about her fertility struggles, the couple started the IVF process this past summer. "Opposite of my first experience with IVF, this time I was anxious for the emotional toll while knowing I could handle the physical repercussions," she wrote. "Additionally, I had reliable companionship this time around with Jimmy by my side, my trusty furry companion Girly Girl and of course, baby Aspen. It may seem silly to mention Aspen and Girly Girl but this support system was everything to me during round 2 of IVF."
Meghan and Jim, 47, ended up implanting four embryos, four boys and one girl — and despite the ups and downs of her fertility treatment, including depression, which was chronicled on RHOC, it was all worth it for Meghan. "Fast forward to today and I am pregnant! I’m not feeling the greatest but we know that it will all be worth it in the end," she added. "Aspen will make a fabulous big sister at only a year-and-a-half old in June 2018!"
Jim is also a dad to three daughters, Hayley, Lauren, Sutton, and son Landon, from a previous marriage. Congrats to the growing family!
