People Are ~Buzzing~ About a Bug That Flew Into Meghan Markle’s Face During the Royal Wedding
ICYMI — because you legit might have if you were anywhere in the US — a v small, NBD wedding ceremony happened across the pond this morning. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle tied the knot at St George's Chapel in Windsor on May 19, and although people from all over the world can't stop talking about the actress-turned royal's wedding dress, they're also talking about a minor mishap you may have missed during the ceremony.
The moment happened when Bishop Michael Curry gave his powerful royal wedding address. In the middle of his passionate speech, a pesky bug slammed into the new Duchess of Sussex, but surprisingly, she didn't even flinch! "The bug that flew around Meghan Markle's face. But she handled it like a pro, smiling the whole time!" one person wrote on Twitter. Another added, "A bug just hit Meghan Markle's face! I SAW IT," and a third chimed in, "A fly just flew at Meghan’s face in congratulations, and she did not swat it away. What Grace! What Poise!"
A fourth, however, admitted that although they're not exactly a major fan of the big day, they thought it was pretty cool how she kept her composure. "I'm no wedding fan but flipped it on to see Harry and Meghan's ceremony, and Meghan barely flinched as a fly crashed her face! Awesome!"

Arguably the most modern wedding in royal history, the ceremony included not only an American preacher but a gospel choir as well. The new Mr. and Mrs. kissed outside of St George's chapel before waving to the crowds from a horse-drawn carriage, and honestly, we're still sobbing.
Unfortunately, although Meghan's mother, Doria, was in attendance, the Suits star's father only offered up his comments from afar. "My baby looks beautiful and she looks very happy," Thomas told TMZ. "I wish I was there and I wish them all my love and happiness." The site added that he was "emotional and joyful" watching the ceremony live on TV. As previously reported, Thomas had to forgo Meghan and Harry's wedding to "focus on his health" after undergoing emergency heart surgery.
