Tana Mongeau and Jake Paul Head to Church With 10 Days Before the Wedding and We’re Like ‘Hmm …’
All’s holy in this clout union, rest assured. Engaged YouTuber couple Tana Mongeau and Jake Paul took to their Instagram Stories to share a trip to church with their fans and followers on July 18. Yes, you read that right — these two sinners in church? Well, there is a wedding coming up, y’all.
“Where are you taking me,” the 21-year-old asked her fiancé in one of the cute vids of the duo in the car. “We’re going to church. Family goals,” Jake, 22, replied with a laugh. “He’s actually taking me to church [right now] :’) @jakepaul,” Tana captioned the snap.
Naturally, the idea of Jana headed to church is an interesting one, as these two crazy cats don’t exactly sound like the Bible-reading type. But considering they’re about to get married, maybe their attendance in the house of God is just part of the preparations? We weren’t exactly expecting a church ceremony, but go off, kids.
Tana and Jake got engaged on June 24 in the wee hours of the morning while the couple partied for the blonde beauty’s big 21st birthday bash. “JAKE JUST PROPOSED,” Tana tweeted in the midst of the late-night party the night of the proposal. “I’m ……. engaged ………………”
Since making the commitment, the duo has put the pedal to the metal when it comes to convincing fans of the relationship, and thus that the plan to get hitched is real. A few days after Jake locked Tana down, on June 28, the couple took to their Instagram Stories to film a short vid for “the people” who didn’t believe their engagement.
The couple has also been showing up regularly in each other’s YouTube videos, with one of Jake’s most recent videos featuring their engagement photoshoot on July 6. A few days later, Jake even surprised Tana while she was onstage at VidCon on July 13, where they announced their wedding date: July 28.
The YouTubers started dating back in early May — and everyone thought they were full of it. But if they’re making church trips, there might be a little more substance to this couple than we all originally thought.
