She’s Always Been a Feminist
Years ago, when Meghan was just 11 years old, she wrote a letter discussing sexism in a dish soap commercial she saw in her social studies class. “Women all over America are fighting greasy pots and pans,” was part of the ad’s narrative, and Meg was not having it.

Her Motto Is to Make a Difference
“If you see something that you don’t like or offended by on television or any other place, write letters and send them to the right people, and you can really make a difference, not just for yourself but for lots of other people,” she said in an interview with Inside Edition at the time. All About Making a Statement
It’s not super often we see a royal wear gowns above the knee, but the former actress wears what she wants and that’s empowering AF. In the past, she’s broken royal protocol for rockin’ dark nail polish, so it’s clear she can’t be tamed and we love her for that.

Surrounded by Good Company
During the panel, Meghan was joined by The Circle founder and singer Annie Lennox, Gurls Talk founder and model Adwoa Aboah, former Australian prime minister and Global Institute for Women’s Leadership chair Julia Gillard, Let Us Learn founder Chrisann Jarrett and Campaign for Female Education executive director Angeline Murimirwa. Not a bad team!

We’re so here for this!
