Two days after Miranda Lambert confirmed her relationship with fellow musician Anderson East, a few mistakes from the 28-year-old's past have come back to haunt him!
According to a new report, Anderson (whose real name is Michael Cameron Anderson), was arrested on March 4, 2007, and charged with reckless driving, possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia.
Initially pulled over for driving without his headlights on, Anderson allegedly told police he had "smoked a bowl" the night before. Radar Online also reports that cops found an ounce of pot inside his car.
Court documents show that the singer was fined $250 and sentenced to less than a year's probation, after which the charges were dismissed.
As Life & Style previously reported, Anderson's stepdad was the first to confirm his relationship with Miranda, admitting just before New Years that the duo had been dating for "a couple of weeks."
Here's hoping Anderson's past transgressions don't ruin the good thing they've got going!
