REPORT‘O.C.’ Star Mischa Barton Dismisses Lawsuit Against Estranged Mom

Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino

The 33-year-old filed a $75,000 lawsuit against his dad in 2011 claiming that he was illegally using his name and likeness on his website, TheConfrontationSite.com.

The former Jersey Shore star claimed that his dad was trying to damage his business reputation after he posted a series of videos of himself talking about his son's "selfish ways."

The lawsuit was dropped after Mike's dad apologized to his son.

Leighton Meester

In 2011, the 29-year-old sued her mother claiming that she was spending the $7,500 the Gossip Girl star was sending her monthly to pay for her brother's medical issues, on her own cosmetic procedures.

Aaron Carter

In 2003, the 28-year-old filed a lawsuit against his mom, claiming that she stole more than $100,000 from him.

Chris Warren Jr.

The former High School Musical star sued his parents in 2013, claiming that they spent his entire earnings from the Disney Channel Original Movie.

The 26-year-old was awarded $330K by the judge.

LeAnn Rimes

In 1998, the 33-year-old filed a lawsuit against her father and her co-manager Lyle Walker, claiming that they stole over $7 million from her in the past five years.

Kobe Bryant

In 2013, the 37-year-old filed a lawsuit against his mom claiming that she stole over a million dollars worth of memorabilia from him. Eventually they reached a settlement and his mom apologized.

Mischa Barton

In April of 2015, the 30-year-old filed a lawsuit against her mother claiming that she stole money from her and that she kicked her out of the $7.5 million house that the former O.C. actress bought herself.
