‘Mob Wives’ Star Big Ang “Isn’t Doing Well” After Cancer Treatments Fail to Shrink Tumors
Almost a year after she was first diagnosed with lung cancer, Mob Wives star Angela Raiola (aka Big Ang) received some devastating news from her doctor: chemotherapy treatments aren’t working.
Janice Detore, the reality star’s sister, writes that one of the 55-year-old’s tumors has actually grown while others remain the same size. Meanwhile, Big Ang’s husband, Neil Murphy, told SILive.com that she “isn’t doing well.”

After learning she had the disease in March of 2015, the mother-of-two underwent surgery to remove a tumor from her neck and lymph nodes, but was told her cancer had returned and spread in December.
In a post to fans on New Year’s, Big Ang debuted a brand new haircut, writing, “Let’s fly into 2016 together with positive energy and good health. Take each day as it comes and be thankful for everything you have.”

Janice has since started a GoFundMe page in an effort to raise $25,000 for the purchase of cannabis oil, which will hopefully alleviate some of the TV personality’s pain. In one day, the family has already received nearly $20,000 in donations.
Our thoughts are with Big Ang during this tough battle!
