After an almost year-long engagement, actors Peter Facinelli and Jaimie Alexander have officially called it quits.
Peter, 41, starred as Carlisle Cullen in the Twilight saga and proposed to Jaimie on top of the Empire State Building in New York City last March. However, alleged work and family conflicts have led to the breakup.

“Due to conflicting family and work commitments on opposite coasts, and after much consideration, Peter and Jaimie have chosen to part ways amicably and remain good friends,” a rep for the couple tells Us Weekly.
Jaimie, 31, has spent the past several months in New York City filming her new show, Blind Spot. Meanwhile, Peter has been in Los Angeles, where he is close to his children, Luca, 16, Lola, 10, and Fiona, 7, who he shares with ex-wife Jennie Garth.
