Lisa Rinna Upset Andy Cohen With Her ‘RHOBH’ Rant: ‘She’s Gone Too Far,’ Source Claims
She landed herself in hot water. Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Lisa Rinna has ignited an all-out feud with her costar Lisa Vanderpump — and she even accused Vanderpump, 58, and Bravo of using the RHOBH ladies to play out a storyline that would eventually turn into a Vanderpump Dogs spinoff. But now, an insider exclusively revealed to Life & Style that the 55-year-old’s comments didn’t exactly sit well with network executives — including her boss, Andy Cohen.
“Lisa Rinna is known for stirring the pot on the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, but it looks like it may backfire,” the insider told Life & Style. “Andy Cohen and Bravo executives are upset with accusations, threats and demands for money. She’s gone too far.”
On March 7, Rinna took to her Instagram story to share her thoughts on the reports that claimed Vanderpump would be getting a second RHOBH spinoff titled Vanderpump Dogs, which would be focused on her dog rescue organization. In her statement, Rinna explained that she’s a “hustler,” and believes that people should be paid for the work that they do. So she felt that she and her RHOBH costars should have been compensated extra in exchange for their help in “servicing” or “playing out” a storyline that would launch the pilot episode for Vanderpump Dogs.
“Yeah, I’m a hustler. I get paid for what I do. So if this indeed becomes another show my lawyer will be calling. $$$$$$$$$$$$,” Rinna wrote.
The insider also said that Rinna’s Instagram post captured the network’s attention, and they’re not too happy with her for publicly threatening to take legal action. “Lisa went off on a rant about wanting to be paid to help launch future spinoff series for Lisa Vanderpump was ridiculous. She even said her lawyers would be contacting Bravo,” the insider added. “It was over the top and not something anyone should say, threatening legal action is a huge red flag for her employer.”
