After a spot of controversy, it looks like Scott Disick and his daughter, Penelope Disick, have decided to take it easy. When Scott recently shared a photo of him and his daughter dining out on Instagram, fans and followers quickly flooded the comments to share their distaste for what was being considered a potentially racist photo. So after the comments storm, Scott took to social media again on Jan. 4, to share another photo with his daughter — one that no one could misconstrue.

“Living my best life,” he captioned the photo of him and Penelope snuggled up on the couch and looking like the most adorable daddy-daughter duo on planet Earth. Fans and followers hit the comment section on this photo too, but the responses this time were full of encouragement.

“Honest, Scott is an amazing father,” one follower wrote. “He may have [his] issues, but you can tell he loves his kids.” Another fan also sent praise for Scott and his parenting. “You really are a good guy, Scott,” they wrote, complete with heart emojis.

“That’s what it’s about,” another follower wrote, referring to the parental bliss in the photo. “You finally figured it out, my man.”

The sweet new pic comes just after Scott, 35, posted a photo of himself having dinner with his 6-year-old daughter at an Asian restaurant on Jan. 3, where she is seen lifting her eyelids. “Best date of 2019!” he captioned the photo. Fans were not happy with what the photo seemed to represent and didn’t hold back from letting him know.

“Very cute kid but teach her not to do the Chinese eye thing at a sushi restaurant,” one follower wrote. “Don’t teach her to be a racist. Cause that’s what gonna happen.”

Despite the backlash, the photo is still up on Scott’s Instagram, so it doesn’t look like he was too affected by the comments. Scott’s always been a guy who marches to the beat of his own drum, but it is important to take the feelings of others into account. Hopefully, this little incident taught Scott just that — and that he passed the wisdom onto little P, too.
