Scott Disick and Sofia Richie Fuel Engagement Rumors With a Celebratory Dinner
Is Scott Disick engaged? In a bizarre series of events, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star sparked engagement rumors with Sofia Richie. The couple has been spotted out on-and-off since the Cannes Film Festival back in May, but they’ve been hanging out together a lot more recently — and not only did they seem to confirm the dating rumors by going Instagram official, but they celebrated a special event with a dinner surrounded by a ton of pals which has fans thinking that they got engaged.

The 34-year-old has been spending the weekend with friends in Miami, and on Saturday, Sept. 23, he shared a photo of him and the 19-year-old model using the story feature on Instagram — which means that the photo will disappear within 24 hours. Sofia — who is the daughter of R&B singer Lionel Richie and sister of former reality TV star Nicole Richie — also shared a photo of her and Kourtney Kardashian’s ex, choosing to use the temporary Instagram feature as well.

But it’s a video clip that was shared on Scott’s friend’s Instagram story that has everyone buzzing. Alec Monopoly attended the celebratory dinner with Scott, Sofia, and the rest of their pals and he recorded a video of waiters bringing out a dessert, complete with sparklers and a personalized message written on the plate in chocolate that read, “Congratulations Scott and Sophia” — with Sofia’s name misspelled. Fans took to Scott and Sofia’s most recent Instagram posts to leave comments, and one fan asked, “Are they engaged? Like what were they being congratulated on?”
Meanwhile, Kourtney has yet to comment on Scott and Sofia’s relationship, but she did share a cryptic message days before their trip to Miami. “In life, you realize there is a role for everyone you meet. Some will test you, some will use you, some will love you, and some will teach you,” she captioned a photo of her hugging her sisters. “But the ones who are truly important are the ones who bring out the best in you. They are the rare and amazing people who remind you why it’s worth it.”
