Scottie and Larsa Pippen Are Staying Together After All! Couple Officially Throws out Divorce
There is still good in the world! Over a year after originally announcing their divorce, TMZ has learned that Scottie Pippen and Larsa Pippen have reconciled and are no longer ending their 20-year marriage!
The duo went to Florida's Broward County court on Nov. 2 to each dismiss the divorce case, and all that has to happen now to make the reunion official is for a judge to sign the docs. The couple has actually been working on their relationship for quite some time, even moving to Los Angeles together in September.
It's so nice to hear that a Hollywood couple was actually able to come back from the dark side, especially as so many other celebs call it quits. The former NBA baller and his longtime rock had plenty of reason to make it work, as they share four kids together: Scottie Jr., Preston, Justin and Sophia (who you may recognize as one of North West's besties). The couple got married in 1997. What better time for a reunion than on their 20th anniversary!?
The duo first announced their split in August 2016. "After careful consideration and 19 years together, Larsa and Scottie have each filed for dissolution of their marriage,” a statement issued by Larsa’s rep to Us Weekly said. "Although they are no longer to be married, Larsa remains hopeful that she and Scottie will always do what is best for their four beautiful children and jointly raise them with love and respect. … She would like to thank everyone for their understanding and kindly ask for privacy from the media during this difficult time of transition for her family." Thank goodness they found a way to get past the tough times!
