‘Bachelor’ Couple Sean and Catherine Lowe Welcome Second Baby Boy!
Look who's here! Sean and Catherine Lowe just announced the birth of their second baby! The precious little boy was born on May 18, and is now the younger sibling of Samuel Thomas Lowe, the Bachelor couple's one-year-old son. "Introducing Samuel Thomas’ little brother, Isaiah Hendrix ?," wrote Catherine along with a sweet photo holding her baby. Aw!
Hours before the little bundle of joy was born, Sean gave fans an update: "We’re having a baby today!" he wrote on Twitter. "When the nurse at the front desk asked for our insurance card, I told her I also had a half off coupon and now I get to sit in the waiting room during the birth!" Sean never misses an opportunity to make a joke, but he was seriously moved by becoming a father of two. He posted a photo holding his baby boy with the caption "Thank you lord. And thank you to everyone who has wished mama and baby well."
The couple announced the birth 13 hours after revealing that they had checked into the hospital. That's a looong labor, and while Catherine and the baby are both happy and healthy, it took a toll on mama. "Catherine is laid up in the hospital bed recovering from the c-section procedure which has left her extremely sore and exhausted," said Sean. "So naturally I asked her if we could start working on baby number 3 tonight. I think the pain meds have affected her sense of humor."
It didn't take long for Bachelor host Chris Harrison to send the growing family his love. "Congrats brother," he wrote on Sean's Instagram. The rest of Bach Nation soon followed suit. "Yay! Congrats Catherine, Sean, and Samuel!" wrote Jade Tolbert. Lesley Murphy chimed in saying, "Love you momma! This baby boy is so precious! Congrats to you and Sean and Samuel!" We couldn't be happier for the family. Congrats, guys!
