Selena Gomez Attends Her BFF Courtney Barry’s Wedding and They Are Total #FriendshipGoals
Wedding bells were ringing for Selena Gomez’s best friend Courtney Barry on Thursday, February 21, and of course, the 26-year-old pop star was there to support her BFF during one of the biggest days of her life.
Selena was spotted wearing a beautiful black dress which featured gorgeous rhinestones. Courtney and her husband, Sam Lopez, were joined by their closest friends, and the “It Ain’t Me” singer wasn’t the only celebrity. One of the other wedding attendees was Niall Horan.
The ceremony wasn’t the first time the pair of friends have recently gotten together. In January, Selena and a few of Courtney’s besties threw her a bridal shower. She snapped a pic of a bunch of polaroids taken at her party. “A few of my perfect girls threw me a perfect shower,” wrote Courtney on Instagram.
Earlier this month, Selena shared photos of herself with Courtney and friends at the beach during a bachelorette weekend. “My best friend is getting married, so we celebrated her! Future Mrs. Lopez,” she captioned the photo.
It’s so amazing to see the pop star back on her feet. At the wedding, Selena was dancing and laughing on the dance floor. As of late, the actress has been in good spirits after leaving a rehab facility in November 2018.
Since then, she’s released new music like her song “Anxiety” with Julia Michaels. Selena took fans by surprise when she revealed a vulnerable side in the track. “Always wanted to be one of those people in the room/ That says something and everyone puts their hand up/ Like, ‘If you’re sad put your hand up/ If you hate someone, put your hand up/ If you’re scared, put your hand up,’” she sings in the tune’s second verse.
She’s expected to release a single next week called “I Can’t Get Enough.” Something tells us that’s exactly how the song will have us feeling!
