Selena Gomez Threw a ‘Perfect’ Bridal Shower for Her BFF and the Photos Are so Sweet
That’s what friends are for! Selena Gomez is hearing wedding bells, but it’s not for herself. She threw the sweetest bridal shower for her friend Courtney Barry and it looked like the best time ever. The ladies in attendance were stunning in chic cocktail dresses, the decor was simple and everybody looked like they were all smiles for the big day.
“A few of my perfect girls threw me a perfect shower,” the grateful friend said in a caption on Instagram. She shared a full spread of polaroid pictures from the party that included the 26-year-old songstress front and center.
Obviously, the bride-to-be sported an elegant white dress while the “Bad Liar” singer looked bright and happy in a little red number. It’s great to see the starlet mingling with close friends and enjoying life.
A source exclusively told Life & Style that the brunette beauty has also been cozying up to her longtime friend Taylor Swift since her month-long stay in a rehab facility.
“Selena’s been leaning on Taylor for support during this rocky period,” the source notes. “Taylor calls or texts her pal most days to see how she’s getting on, regardless of how busy she is.” That’s what we call a ride-or-die.
“They’ve been through so much together and nothing will ever get in the way of their friendship,” the source gushed about the 29-year-old singer’s relationship with the former Disney star.
“Selena has distanced herself from the old girl squad and Taylor is the only real A-lister she keeps in touch with!” the insider added. “Taylor will always be there for Selena and vice versa. They’re a prime example of what true friendship is all about.” We stan this strong female duo.
Overall, Selena looks like she’s feeling great and ready for whatever this year brings.
