Shakira Cancels Upcoming Performances Due to “Personal Matters”
Shakira surprised fans on Monday when she canceled two upcoming performances due to "personal matters."
The 39-year-old made the announcement on Twitter, writing:
Due to personal matters, I won't be able to travel to Las Vegas & LA to attend the @LatinGRAMMYs or the @AMAs this year.

Both events are scheduled to take place later this month. The beloved singer did not specify the reason for the cancelations beyond her initial statement.

Shakira is mom to two sons — Milan, 3, and Sasha, 21 months — with longtime boyfriend, Gerard Piqué. We hope the Colombian beauty will be able to return to the stage soon!
