We stan a progressive queen. During a recent interview, Sophie Turner got candid about what sexuality and romance means to her. “Everyone experiments. It’s part of growing up,” the Game of Thrones powerhouse, 23, told Rolling Stone. “I love a soul, not a gender.”

Thankfully, there is one special soul, in particular, that Sophie fell in love with — Joe Jonas! As it happens, though, the blonde beauty admitted that her engagement is something that she never thought she would get to experience. “I was fully preparing myself to be single for the rest of my life,” the British actress confessed.

“I think once you’ve found the right person, you just know. I feel like I’m much older a soul than I am in age,” Sophie continued. I feel like I’ve lived enough life to know. I’ve met enough guys to know — I’ve met enough girls to know. I don’t feel 22. I feel like 27, 28.”

The right person, indeed! Sophie and Joe, 29, have quickly become one the sweetest couples in Hollywood — along with Nick Jonas and his wifey, Priyanka Chopra, of course. Despite their burgeoning careers, the lovebirds seem to always make time for each other — whether it be smooching at a basketball game or taking a stroll through NYC.

“A lot of [my happiness now] is to do with being with a person I’ve fallen in love with, who loves me more than he loves himself and who wants to see me find my own happiness,” Sophie told Glamour U.K. “That was probably the biggest thing that pushed me to find who I am — and find my happiness in things other than acting.”

Given that Sophie recently wrapped up filming for the final season of GoT — *pauses to wipe tears* — we have no doubt that she and Joe will continue to enjoy the fruits of their labor. Perhaps by having a darn wedding?! No rush … just a casual suggestion.
