What’s New With Spotify Wrapped This Year? New Features, Artist & Song Rankings, & More
As 2025 comes to a close, Spotify users everywhere are celebrating another year listening to their favourite artists, podcasters, authors, and more.
This year’s Spotify Wrapped is “more captivating, more layered, and more revealing than ever before” according to the music streaming platform.
So what does this mean?
New designs, nearly a dozen new features, and revamped favorites are all part of this year’s Wrapped experience. Here are some of those fun new features:
Listening Age
Age may be just a number, but what does the era of music you listen to say about yours?
This fun new feature compares your musical tastes to others’ in your age group by looking at the release years of the tracks you listen to most. It then analyzes that data to give you a “Listening Age.” This means that if you’re a lover of classic tunes, your Listening Age will be higher, while those into the latest releases will skew younger.
Clubs
Find fellow listeners that share your vibe this year with the new Clubs feature.
Spotify listeners will be sorted into one of six Clubs: Cloud State Society, Club Serotonin, Cosmic Stereo Club, Full Charge Crew, Grit Collective, or Soft Hearts Club. Each Club represents a unique music listening style.
You will also be assigned a role within that community, which tells you more about how you listen to music compared to others in your same Club.
Wrapped Party
Ever wanted to experience Spotify Wrapped with your family or friend group in a more interactive way? Then the Wrapped Party is for you.
This new feature turns your listening data into a live competition you can play with a group. You can access the feature by searching for “Wrapped Party” in Spotify, or by clicking on it at the end of your personalized experience.
2025 Top Rankings
Bad Bunny has returned to the top as the number one Global Top Artist of 2025. This is his fourth time receiving this top ranking, beating his own previous record of three times. Taylor Swift, last year’s Global Top Artist, dropped down to number two. The Weeknd, Drake and Billie Eilish round out the top five spots.
Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars took number one for Global Top Song of 2025 with “Die With A Smile.” “BIRDS OF A FEATHER” by Billie Eilish, “APT.” by ROSÉ and Bruno Mars, “Ordinary” by Alex Warren and “DtMF” by Bad Bunny complete this year’s top five.
Global Top Artist Bad Bunny continues his reign by also claiming the number one spot on the list of Global Top Albums of 2025 with DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS. KPop Demon Hunters by KPop Demon Hunters Cast, HUNTR/X, Saja Boys claimed spot number two, followed by HIT ME HARD AND SOFT by Billie Eilish, SOS Deluxe: LANA by SZA and Short n’ Sweet by Sabrina Carpenter.
Spotify also made sure to include its non-musical listeners with rankings for podcasts and audiobooks.
“The Joe Rogan Experience” took the top spot amongst rankings for Global Top Podcasts of 2025. “The Diary Of A CEO with Steven Bartlett,” “The Mel Robbins Podcast,” “Call Her Daddy” and “This Past Weekend w/ Theo Von” round out the top five this year.
Audiobooks are a more recent addition to the Spotify platform, having been included in Wrapped for the very first time last year. This year, Fourth Wing by Rebecca Yarros took number one on the list of Global Top Audiobooks in Premium of 2025, with Lights Out by Navessa Allen, Iron Flame by Rebecca Yarros and A Court of Thorns and Roses and A Court of Mist and Fury, both by Sarah J. Maas, round out the top five.
