Starbucks’ New Midnight Mint Mocha Frappuccino Is Taking Us to the Dark Side!
Welcome to the dark side! Starbucks just introduced a Midnight Mint Mocha Frappucccino for the anti-unicorn drink crowd!
Following the success of the Unicorn Frappuccino — the pink-and-blue concoction that tasted of mango syrup and sugar-infused rainbows — the coffee giant is serving up a drink for the more sophisticated palette this summer.

According to a statement, the blended drink consists of extra-dark cocoa with coffee, milk, ice and cooling mint sugar crystals, and is cut in the middle with a layer of whipped cream. The cold beverage is then topped with even more whipped cream and a sprinkling of dark cocoa powder.
“Mint is instantly cooling,” said beverage development manager Ryan Coombes “It contrasts with the dark cocoa and whipped cream for a balanced, refreshing beverage.”
He continued, “People are gravitating toward vibrant colors. Jet black is filling the void in unexpected places.”
