Taylor Swift Generously Tipped 67th Grammy Awards Workers During an Afterparty: ‘Good People’
Taylor Swift won over the hearts of fans – and may have gained a few more – after a video went viral of her tipping the staff at a 67th Grammys afterparty on February 2.
In the clip, shared by multiple accounts on Tuesday, February 11, the “Down Bad” singer, 35, was seemingly in a rush while backstage at the event. Taylor and her entourage sped past a group of four event staff members, but she turned around to show her gratitude by handing them all an undisclosed amount of money.
“I appreciate you so much,” the Pennsylvania native told the crew before speed-walking to the exit.
Taylor was nominated for six Grammy awards earlier in the night and still had high spirits after walking away with zero accolades.
After a TikTok user shared the video, fans shared their favorite part of the exchange in the comments section of the post.
“It’s not even the tip, it’s the fact that she thanked everyone individually even though it looks like she didn’t have a lot of time,” one fan wrote.
“Here’s what I tell everybody … I may not be a Swifty, I may not even like most of her music … But what I do know is, she is good people, putting good out there in the world. Who wouldn’t love her,” a second person commented.
Meanwhile, other people shared personal stories after witnessing Taylor’s generosity over the years.
A Kansas City resident revealed that the “Love Story” singer went to the city’s children’s hospital and “filled every single child’s Christmas wishlist in the entire hospital. Everything on it. And no one knows about it because she refused media.”
Taylor’s generosity has been admired by fans over the years, especially when she cheers on her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, at NFL games.

In December 2023, a fan snuck a photo of Taylor discreetly handing $100 bills to staff that catered to her in her private suite at the Gillette Stadium in Massachusetts. The musician was there supporting Travis, 35, and the Kansas City Chiefs as they battled the New England Patriots on the field, coming out on top with a 27-17 final score.
The following month, Taylor made a Buffalo woman’s dream come true when she not only asked if she could tip her, but also offered to take a selfie with her too.
“She’s a sweetie pie. Very down to earth,” Jerris Rainey, a Swiftie and ticket holder at the Toyota Club at Highmark Stadium, told 7 News after the Chiefs defeated the Buffalo Bills. “I just wanted to just see her, and she, you know, she stopped, and she asked me if I worked at the stadium. I said, ‘Yes.’ And she asked if she could give me a tip. And she gave me $100 and then she asked if I wanted to take a picture with her and I said, ‘Yes.’”
Taylor also donated to 10 organizations after the wildfires swept through Los Angeles in January, after an estimated 12,000 homes were burned down and communities lost.
“The fires in California have devastated so many families, and it’s been heartbreaking to see these stories unfold. So much suffering, loss, and destruction,” the “Fortnight” singer wrote via Instagram Stories on January 16. “As so many people embark on some of the most challenging times of their lives, there are also many amazing organizations and groups banding together to help these communities rebuild.”
