‘The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives’ Season 4: Renewal Status, Cast Updates & Everything We Know
The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives has become one of Hulu’s most addictive reality hits since premiering in September 2024 — and its momentum hasn’t slowed for a second. In the last year alone, the cast has danced on primetime TV, released books, broken the internet on TikTok and even crossed over into Bachelor Nation. With all that chaos happening on- and off-camera, fans are already asking: Will the Mormon Wives be back for season 4?
Is ‘The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives’ Renewed for Season 4?
Hulu hasn’t officially announced a renewal just yet, but all signs point to a yes. People recently reported that Jen Affleck was filming the show while competing on Dancing With the Stars — which basically confirms cameras are already rolling.
Deadline also noted that Hulu is eyeing potential spinoffs and may be planning a two-season pickup, similar to how seasons 2 and 3 were ordered and filmed back-to-back. Executive producer Jeff Jenkins even teased long-term plans, saying, “I anticipate we’re going to be shooting through most of 2026.”
With the show now ranking as Hulu’s most-watched unscripted series — surpassing The Kardashians — it feels like a matter of time before the renewal becomes official.
When Could Season 4 Premiere?
If the cast genuinely has been filming in fall 2025, new episodes could arrive as early as spring 2026. The franchise is known for its rapid production cycle — season 1 dropped in September 2024, season 2 followed in May 2025, a reunion aired that July, and season 3 arrived in November 2025.
Given that pattern, a spring release is definitely possible if Hulu continues fast-tracking the drama.
Which Cast Members Would Return?
Expect the full crew back if season 4 moves forward: Jen Affleck, Demi Engemann, Whitney Leavitt, Mikayla Matthews, Mayci Neeley, Jessi Ngatikaura, Taylor Frankie Paul, Layla Taylor and Miranda McWhorter.
Some storylines may shift, though. Taylor’s upcoming stint as The Bachelorette led fans to wonder whether she’d appear less on SLOMW — but she shut down those fears on Call Her Daddy, saying she planned to pull double duty.
There’s also curiosity about Demi and Whitney’s screen time. Demi’s presence dipped in season 3 after a pay dispute tied into her feud with Jessi, and Whitney previously admitted she only returned for season 3 to audition for Dancing With the Stars. Still, for now, it’s hard to imagine anyone walking away from the franchise.
