The Chrisley Knows Best household is a bit shaken after their dog Lilo’s cancer scare. The French bulldog belongs to his son Chase and has quickly earned a special place in the real estate mogul’s heart. Life & Style exclusively learned from reality show star Todd Chrisley that their beloved pet is cancer free and feeling much better. Keep scrolling for the full scoop!
“She’s actually doing well and [the] pathology came back negative for cancer … They removed the tumor and we pick her up this afternoon,” the 49-year-old divulged on March 11 after noting that the poor pup underwent surgery on March 8.

It’s Been a Scary Few Weeks.
The reality star shared the somber news of Lilo’s health problems via Facebook on March 1. “She had a rough day, two procedures to see if she has cancer then another surgery next week but she’s pulling through like the queen she is,” he wrote.

“Let’s all pray that she’s gonna be fine because I’ve grown to love this girl and I want her healthy and happy,” he added.

A Healthy Future.
Usually, cancer biopsy results for dogs can take a week or more so the family has probably been very anxious to hear back. In addition, the rigorous testing period can be very stressful for an animal.

Todd famously met the French bulldog during season 5 of Chrisley Knows Best and they did not, er, take to her right away.

When Todd broke the news about Lilo’s health problems on social media, fans rallied to support his four-legged friend. “I remember the episode where you did not want her. And now look how close you have become to her,” one person recalled in the comments.

Someone else gushed, “Todd, you fell in LOVE. I knew you would. I remember when Chase brought this baby home and you were dead set against her being in your house. I knew given time you’d fall in love [because] you have a heart of gold.”

Chase, 22, and Savannah, 21, are set to get their own show on USA Network called Growing Up Chrisley which will air sometime in 2019.

The show will cover the siblings making the big move from Nashville to Los Angeles.

There Are Sure to Be Bumps Along the Way.
Besides their (probably) epic road trip to the West Coast, fans will be able to watch their journeys to discover themselves in a new city. Chase wants to be an actor while Savannah has her sights on the beauty industry.
