Tracee Ellis Ross’ House Was Burglarized By Thieves Who Stole $100K Worth of Items
Tracee Ellis Ross’ house in Los Angeles was broken into and burglarized, with the thieves stealing more than $100,000 worth of jewelry and handbags.
The burglary was reported at around 12:30 a.m. on Tuesday, September 2, after the home’s staff members arrived at the residence and discovered the disturbance, according to local NBC affiliate KNBC. The Los Angeles Police Department said that three individuals entered the home through a glass door, per the outlet.
Ross, 52, was not home at the time of the incident. The Girlfriends actress has not yet publicly commented on the robbery.
An investigation into the matter remains ongoing, while police have obtained footage from a home security camera to learn more about the situation.
The robbery at Ross’ home is not the first burglary to target a celebrity in recent weeks. Thieves previously broke into Brad Pitt‘s Los Feliz home in June, making their way into the vacant residence through a window.

Pitt’s home was broken into on June 25 at approximately 10:30 p.m. The LAPD said that the suspects “broke into the residence via the front window, ransacked the location, then fled the location with miscellaneous property.”
Entertainment Weekly reported that Damari Zair Charles and Jaquory Arman Watson, both 18, were arrested and booked in August at the Theo Lacy jail complex in Orange, California, for their alleged involvement in the robbery. The arrests were made after they allegedly targeted another residence in Orange County on August 7.
LAPD told the outlet that a total of four suspects were arrested for their alleged involvement in the burglary that targeted Pitt, 61
“Per Command Staff at Northeast Area, four suspects have been arrested in connection to a burglary that occurred on the 2300 block of N. Edgemont Drive,” Officer Drake Madison wrote in an email to EW. “We do not confirm or provide the name of the owner of the residence.”

Meanwhile, Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban‘s Los Angeles home was also burglarized on Valentine’s Day earlier this year. At the time, police sources told NBC News, ABC News and TMZ that the thieves allegedly smashed a glass door or window to break into the home and steal from the A-list couple.
Despite all of the robberies that have taken place in the Los Angeles area, there is no evidence that all of the crimes were committed by the same thieves.
