Tristan Thompson Calls Son Prince His ‘Twin’ In Touching Birthday Post: I’m ‘So Blessed’
Happy birthday, Prince Thompson! Tristan Thompson‘s precious little boy turned two years old on Dec. 12, and the NBA baller took to Instagram to share a rare photo and a sweet message for the adorable toddler.
“Happy birthday to my son Prince, so blessed the man upstairs chose me to be your pops,” Tristan wrote beside a pic of Prince holding a basketball. It looks like he’s already taking an interest in his dad’s career! “You’re my motivation every day. Daddy loves you so much!!! 👑❤️❤️❤️❤️ #MyTwin.”
Tristan’s best pals, who are also close with Khloé Kardashian, also sent their love. Savas (aka @richyoungin) wrote, “My young boy 👑, while Simon wrote, “Prince the Goat,” with a heart emoji. Kim Kardashian event sent some love by liking the sweet photo.
Mom Jordan Craig also posted a sweet message on her Instagram. She wrote, “Can’t believe I officially ‘have a 2-year-old’ 😢! Such a bittersweet day… but I’m incredibly proud of the little gentlemen you are becoming! Love You Papa! ♥️🖤.” Alongside the message were two gorgeous photos of Jordy in black tie attire holding her little man in a tux, how cute!
It’s unclear whether or not Tristan will spend time with Prince on his birthday, or how often he seems him at all, but his relationship with the little guy was a big reason Khloé wanted to have kids with him in the first place. Before getting pregnant, she told ES Magazine, “I would love to have a family. We’ve talked about it… He [already] is a father, and I know for a fact that he would be an impeccable father.”
Tristan rarely shares photos of his kids on social media. This is only the second time he’s shared images of Prince… the first was when he shared a photo of his son with baby True in June. We hope he starts doing it more often because we love seeing their precious little faces!
