Tyga Opens Up About Relationship With Kylie Jenner, Claims It “Overshadowed” His Career
Just one month after splitting from girlfriend Kylie Jenner, Tyga is dishing all about his relationship with the famous reality star.
The 26-year-old rapper made an appearance on the Big Boy TV and revealed that his relationship with Kylie began to “overshadow” his own music career, and the time in the spotlight took its toll on the famous couple.
“When you’re in a very public relationship like that, it’s hard for other people to see you differently than that,” Tyga revealed on the show. “Being in that it took a lot, career wise, everything. It overshadowed a lot of my talents and a lot of things that I worked hard for.”

The rapper, whose ex Blac Chyna is engaged to and expecting a child with Kylie’s brother, Rob Kardashian, even revealed that the relationship came to a mutual end.
“It got to the point where it was like, ‘I respect you, you respect me,'” he said. “I think it’s a mutual thing. This is what needs to happen. When something is so damaged or something is just not right, you can’t fix it in a moment. The only thing is time.”
But as it turns out, he’s not completely ruling out a reconciliation in the future.
“Maybe later on in life, maybe we might come back,” he dished. “She’s young. When you’re young, you’re going to make mistakes. All of those mistakes are going to be in the public eye so that puts a lot of strain on the relationship. Right now, I want to focus on what I need to do. I just wanted to get back to just me. I think for her as well.”
