Say What?!John Legend’s Lyric About Chrissy Teigen’s ‘Curves And Edges’ Is Actually About Her Feet
He did say all her edges, right? Chrissy Teigen recently co-hosted an episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show where she divulged a lot of new information about herself. During an interview, Chrissy shared one deep, dark secret: She hates her feet. Of course, after she said this all our eyes darted to her feet.
After the interview, Ellen DeGeneres couldn’t help but tease Chrissy a little more about it. She tweeted, “I discovered a lot about @ChrissyTeigen while she was my co-host. For instance, she gets haircuts during commercial breaks, and she hates her feet.” Chrissy had the most hilarious response, “They’re what John meant by ‘curves and edges.'”
The lyrics to John Legend‘s “All of Me” that Chrissy is referring to read, “‘Cause all of me/Loves all of you/Love your curves and all your edges/All your perfect imperfections.” A beautiful love song now will forever remind us of Chrissy’s feet. Let’s all think on that for a while.
The cookbook author always has a good sense of humor about herself and laughed with Ellen as she obsessively hid her feet from the cameras. She even admitted that she had a “no feet” clause in her contract as a model for Sports Illustrated. Hating your feet seems like a ~regular~ person problem, but stars truly are just like us. Chrissy added that her husband John Legend could identify her solely (pun intended) by her feet.
Needless to say, we love Chrissy Teigen and we’re about to see a whole lot more of her in the coming months. John and Chrissy will be hosting an hour-long holiday special on NBC. A Legendary Christmas is airing on Nov. 28, and it’s sure to be a magical night. Fans can expect performances from John’s upcoming holiday album of the same name and special appearances by family, friends, and special guests.
