On Tuesday, February 5, Jennifer Lawrence‘s rep confirmed to Us Weekly that she accepted a proposal from Cooke Maroney, and now we’re finally getting a first look at her sparker. In newly-released photos, taken Feburary 4, you can see the Red Sparrow star, 28, sporting quite the engagement ring. Take a look at it below.
Fans had been speculating the 34-year-old popped the question after eyewitnesses spotted her new bling. “It was a giant rock,” a source told Page Six. “They seemed like they were celebrating at [Raoul’s]. The ring was very noticeable. They were sitting back in a corner. She was wearing a cute black dress with white polka dots.” *Cue the awws.*
The two have only been dating for eight months, but they already have babies on the brain. A source told In Touch of the couple, “They’ve already discussed having children and how cute they’re going to be,” they said. “Jen’s never been happier.”
The Silver Linings Playbook star started dating her handsome man in June 2018, and they were reportedly introduced through Jen’s BFF and 2014 Oscars date, Laura Simpson. Get you a friend like her, folks!
The Kentucky native has always dreamed of walking down the aisle, and now it’s going to be a reality. “I can’t wait to be married,” Jen told Vogue in 2015. “I feel like if I find that one person who I want to spend the rest of my life with, who I want to be the father of my children, that I would absolutely not f—k it up.” We’re so happy for these two!
