Aimee Lou Wood Seemingly Slams Walton Goggins Feud Rumors, Says She ‘Loved’ Working With Him on ‘White Lotus’

Aimee Lou Wood seemingly shut down speculation about her rumored feud with The White Lotus costar Walton Goggins, insisting that she “loved” working with him on season 3.

While walking the red carpet during the Met Gala on Monday, May 6, Aimee, 31, was asked if she planned to make an appearance on Saturday Night Live during Walton’s hosting debut on May 10. After she told Entertainment Tonight that she was “not doing that,” Aimee made it clear that she wasn’t totally against the idea.

“Yeah, why not? Why not?” she said when asked if she would consider appearing on the sketch comedy alongside Walton, 53. “Yeah, it would be fun.”

Aimee – who walked the red carpet with fellow White Lotus costar Patrick Schwarzenegger – then seemingly shut down rumors that she and Walton are feuding by adding, “I loved working with Walton. It was the best thing ever.”

Both Aimee and Walton attended the Met Gala, though they were not seen interacting while posing for photos on the red carpet.

Rumors began to circulate that Amiee and Walton – who played couple Chelsea and Rick on the HBO show – were feuding when fans noticed they stopped following each other on social media after the finale aired on April 6. They have since refollowed each other as of time of publication, Life & Style can confirm.

The speculation continued when Aimee called out Saturday Night Live for making fun of her teeth during their “White Potus” sketch, which was featured during the April 12 episode. “I did find the SNL thing mean and unfunny,” the Sex Education alum said at the time.

While Aimee was open about how hurt she was by the sketch, Walton didn’t appear to be bothered by the way they portrayed Aimee and he reshared the sketch on Instagram. Walton even went as far as to praise the sketch as “smashing.”

Meanwhile, Walton refused to talk about their rumored issues during a May 1 interview with London Times. During the interview, writer Ed Potton brought up the speculated feud by pointing out that the costars no longer follow each other. While Walton and his publicists tried to steer clear of the topic several times, the Queen of the Ring actor finally had enough and ended the interview after Ed pressed the issue again.

“What the f–k, Ed! Come on, buddy. Wow,” Walton replied before reportedly walking out of the interview.

It’s not currently clear where Aimee and Walton stand, though there’s no questioning how much they loved their characters on The White Lotus. After it was revealed that Rick and Chelsea died during the season 3 finale, Walton penned a personal post about the experience on Instagram.

“Rick + Chelsea. With the heaviest of hearts … To me, ours was a love story. It was only ever a love story, hindered by unresolved, childhood trauma. We all have them … but can we move past them,” he wrote alongside several photos of him and Aimee on the show. “In the depths of our despair there is always beauty around us. If we can sit with our pain, just sit with it … not react … not be defined by it … It’s there … the love the world is constantly giving in any given moment is there. Always waiting for us to see it … Trust me I know.”
