Who Are the KATSEYE Members Dating? Inside the Group’s Real and Rumored Relationships
KATSEYE may have just debuted in 2024, but fans already want to know everything about the members’ personal lives — especially when it comes to dating. From rumored flings with pop stars to constant dating rumors, the six-member global girl group has found themselves at the center of plenty of romance speculation.
Formed through the HYBE and Geffen Records reality competition series The Dream Academy, KATSEYE consists of Sophia Laforteza, Manon Bannerman, Daniela Avanzini, Lara Raj, Megan Skiendiel and Yoonchae Jeong. Since their debut single, “Debut,” dropped in June 2024, the group has taken the world by storm — but fame has also brought a spotlight to their relationships.
During a September 2025 Billboard interview, the girls were asked about dating in the public eye — a topic K-Pop idols rarely address so openly. The interviewer noted that KATSEYE seems to be “one of the first groups in the K-pop world that is really open about what you’ve got going on in your personal lives.”
Daniela admitted they’re aware of the curiosity, while Megan shared the reality of navigating fame with friendships and relationships. “I feel like anyone we hang out with, whether they’re friends or whatever, it’s like we always have to warn them that, ‘Hey, this is a big part of our lives,’” she explained. “We have to warn them that the internet and like the whole buzz is a big part of our lives. If it does end up happening and you get clipped, it’s inevitable.”
Manon and Lara both seemed to speak from experience, subtly addressing the online speculation surrounding their own lives. “People will make assumptions, like not everyone we’re standing next to is our boyfriend or girlfriend,” Manon said — a clear nod to the viral rumors linking her to The Kid LAROI after the VMAs after-party. Lara added, “Also, things can be old,” hinting at how quickly old photos can reignite fresh gossip.
