Who Is Bachelor Pad’s David Good? Where the Season 1 Winner Is More Than 10 Years After the Show
Die-hard Bachelor Nation fans may remember the short-lived series Bachelor Pad, which aired for three seasons between 2010 and 2012. The show featured alums from both The Bachelor and The Bachelorette as they hoped to find love while competing in challenges to ultimately win a $250,000 grand prize. David Good was one of two winners to take home the prize in season 1. Now that it’s been more than 10 years since the season aired, many fans have wondered where he ended up.
Who Is ‘Bachelor Pad’ Star David Good?
David, a former trucking contractor from West Alexandria, Ohio, appeared on The Bachelorette season 5 before he moved on to Bachelor Pad. He vied to win Jillian Harris’ heart on The Bachelorette but was eliminated in Week 4.
What Happened to David Good on ‘Bachelor Pad’?
One particularly interesting twist on Bachelor Pad was that the final two contestants were sent to separate rooms and had to decide if they wanted to share the $250,000 prize or keep it for themselves. If they both said they would split the money, they got to walk away with the prize. If not, the money was to be divided between the losing contestants.
Lucky for David and fellow season 1 finalist Natalie Getz, they both agreed to split the prize and walked away with $125,000 each.
“It feels fantastic and surreal to be a hundred-thousandaire. I hope I wake up tomorrow and it’s still real,” David said after the win, according to Daily Mail. “I thought we played the game well, but I was sweating it.”

The Ohio native said he planned to use his share of the winnings to promote his book, The Man Code, and finance a day of fun for his town’s military families.
Where Is Bachelor Pad’s David Good Today?
Though David walked away with a huge cash prize on Bachelor Pad, he did not find love on the show. The reality star went on to release his book, The Man Code: A Woman’s Guide to Cracking the Tough Guy, in November 2010.
“The Man Code is an unwritten set of rules that governs all men,” David told TV Guide. “It’s something we’re genetically made up with and why men act the way they do.”
David told the outlet that his advice for women was to “start out your relationship with 100 percent honesty and trust. … When you start out being brutally honest, you can be free to open up. If you start out that way, you don’t have to hide anything. You don’t have to make up lies to cover your lies, and then you get caught. … I see no reason for it anymore.”
“David Good, winner of Bachelor Pad and fan favorite on The Bachelorette, lifts the hood on the standard to which men hold themselves, empowering women by helping them decipher the unspoken rules that govern masculinity,” the book’s synopsis reads. “Ultimately, Good offers that a Man Code man is just what a woman should want, despite his arriving in a complicated package. After all, what women ultimately desire is loyalty, a trait that is the foundation of the Man Code.”
David left the spotlight after Bachelor Pad and has kept a private life ever since. He is currently the CEO of the companies MedFlow IO and Good Orthopedics, according to his LinkedIn. He was previously the Vice President of Sales at CPN Biosciences.
