Sarafiena’s wit and nurturing energy instantly gained Grant’s attention from the moment she walked out of the limo during their introduction.
Instead of showing off her fabulous night 1 dress during her grand reveal, Sarafiena walked behind a cutout headshot of Grant that was bigger than herself.
“I promise to always be your biggest cheerleader, but I’m never gonna let that give you a big head,” she said in her opening line, leading Grant to giggle and seemingly shake off some nerves.
Two weeks after going on a three-on-one date alongside former Bachelor contestants Dina Lupancu and Litia Garr during week 3, Sarafiena finally received the sought-after one-on-one date invitation.
Sarafiena and Grant bungee jumped off of a bridge in Madrid, Spain. Not only was the musician nervous to overcome his fear of heights, but Sarafiena quickly picked up on his energy and eased the situation.
“I definitely feel closer to Grant because I was able to be comforting,” she said in a confessional while standing in the rain right before her big jump with Grant. “I think the fact that he wanted to do something like this with me shows that there’s a level of trust there. The things that you do for love, really. If he doesn’t think that I like him today – then he’s insane.”
The jump went smoothly, leading Grant and Sarafiena to conclude their final landing with a passionate kiss.
When Was Sarafiena Watkins Eliminated on ‘The Bachelor’ Season 29?
Given Sarafiena’s progression in her relationship with Grant over five weeks, fans thought that she would make it far on the show. However, she was eliminated and sent home alongside Carolina Sofía and Alex Godin in Scotland after Litia, Dina, Zoe McGrady and Juliana Pasquarosa received Grant’s roses.
“Although you only got to see a very small portion of my journey and the connection I formed … I can tell you firsthand I grew and learned so much about myself and what love looks like,” Sarafiena wrote via Instagram on February 25, 2025, one day after her elimination episode aired. “I’m thankful to have met the most amazing women, travel to 2 beautiful countries, and experience a lifetime of memories. I’m proud that I stayed true to myself and was vulnerable all while hopefully making you laugh. This didn’t end how I was hopeful for but I’ll never give up on finding my great love.”
Although fans weren’t necessarily upset that her relationship with Grant ended, they were saddened to see her personal journey end and echoed that they want to see her on Bachelor in Paradise or chosen as the next Bachelorette.
“See you in paradise,” one fan wrote in the comments section of the post.
A second person commented, “I want u to be the next bachelorette pls pls consider it I loved watching u.
Meanwhile, former Bachelorette Charity Lawson gushed, “Rooting for your love story.”
